Factory scheduled maintenance is determined by the manufacturer for each individual vehicle.  This information can be found in your owner’s manual or on the manufacturer’s website. Two sites that provide this information and are also helpful in identifying recall issues are Edmunds and CareCare

Factory scheduled maintenance service items are normally listed at specific mileage intervals such as; 5,000, 15,000, 30,000, and 90,000 miles.  You will find some to be very minor services. Others, often with age and/or excessive mileage, will require more in depth checks.

We Monitor Factory Scheduled Maintenance for You

At Dulles South Chantilly Automotive, we use automotive management software that lets our auto mechanics advise you when manufacturer recommended service items are approaching.  You don't have to research and remember what needs to be done.  We'll let you know what's recommended, how we will approach the work, and the cost.
